Beom-Su Kim
President & Chief Executive Officer, NHN Corporation
Beom Su Kim is the CEO of NHN Corporation, a leading Korean online media company that operates Naver, a search engine and service-based Internet portal; Hangame, a game portal with the largest number of simultaneous connections in the nation; Entoi, a blog-based entertainment community service; and Junior Naver, a portal site for kids.
After establishing Hangame Communications, Kim successfully merged the company with Naver.com and launched NHN Corporation in 2001. The company was listed on KOSDAQ, Korea’s over-the-counter stock market, a year later.
Prior to founding Hangame Communications in 1998, Kim worked for Samsung SDS in the area of program development. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University.
