Jay Lee
Vice President, Helio, U.S.
Jay Lee is the Vice President of Products and Services at HELIO LLC and is responsible for product planning, sourcing, pricing, and P&L management for the company’s handsets and services.
As a pioneer in the wireless industry, Mr. Lee spearheaded SK Telecom's MVNO business strategy in the United States as head of the company's MVNO task force. He was also a founding member that launched the wireless Internet services for the company.
Mr. Lee held several senior positions at SK Telecom, which entailed overseeing the carrier's business, marketing management, strategic planning, wireless Internet service management, and global business strategies. He helped manage SK Telecom's acquisition of Shinsegi Telecom, which was instrumental in the formulation of the IMT-2000 Consortium. At SK Telecom Mr. Lee led cross-functional teams for several global projects including the strategic alliances with global partners such as NTT DoCoMo, Verizon Wireless, HP, Qualcomm, and Disney.
Lee received a B.S. in Business Administration from Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea and MBA from Michigan State University.
