Just as the world has been in constant change, so has the role of women.
Even at this point, women's roles vary tremendously according to cultural and political differences.
But one common thing, regardless of age, culture, or location, is that women have been the "connectors", bridging between the world and the people.
With the ever more prominent roles being played by women in society in the digital age, Gloria Steinem, who has stood at the center of women's rights and the gender equality movement throughout her lifetime, speaks on women's role as the "connectors".
