Park Woong Hyun holds a BA from the Department of Journalism and Broadcasting (now renamed the School of Media & Communication) from Korea University and an MA in telecommunications from New York University.
Starting his advertisement career at Cheil Worldwide, Park is currently the Executive Creative Director of TBWA KOREA and has taken part in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (Adfest) as a panel judge.
He is an active advocator of sharing new and fresh ideas, aiming to create advertisements that put ‘humans’ at the center. His acclaimed ad campaigns and copywriting works include Her Bicycle Entered My Heart, Age is Nothing But a Number, Built for Humans, Thinking is the Energy, SK Telecom’s Center of Life and Naver’s All the Knowledge in the World. Park has also authored a number of national best sellers, including A Book Must Be an Axe and Advertising by Humanities.
