Tony Young-Suc Lyu
CEO & Co-founder, Korbit
Tony is a co-founder and CEO of Korbit, a bitcoin exchange in South Korea. He is also ambassador to Korea for Singularity University, an institution in Silicon Valley focusing on exponentially advancing technologies and global grand challenges.
Previously Tony co-founded a technology entrepreneurship non-profit, TIDE Institute; and a crowdfunding company, Upstart. Prior to that he was an associate expert at the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs in Vienna, Austria, and a Korea overseas volunteer in Sri Lanka.
Tony has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cooper Union, a master’s degree in financial economics from the University of London and a graduate diploma from Singularity University.
