Surfing on the Riptide of Disruptive Innovation
The entire media industry is moving through digital disruption. Some of the biggest players in the music industry are now digital and the comics industry has also undergone its digital transformation with the Webtoon as its main content format. The picture is rather foggy, however, when it comes to newspaper and broadcasting companies who are still struggling to identify the right strategies for their digital adaptation. This session aims to search for possible solutions for the video industry from other media industries which have successfully gone digital. The aim is to help the industry more effectively surf on the digital wave rather than being swept away or overwhelmed by it.
