Joong-Seek Lee
Professor, Department of Digital Contents Convergence, Seoul Natioanl University
Lee, Joong-seek is a professor at the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology, Seoul National University. Previously he taught at the Department of Communication, researching Human-Information Behavior using internet and mobile media. Since 2003, he leads the Information and Culture Technology Study at Seoul National University which experiments intricacy between emerging technology and humanities.
Before joining Seoul National University, he had worked at Samsung Opentide where he served as a Chief Creative Officer and Head of Internet Consulting Group. The group had consulted many of Samsung affiliates’ e-Business enabling projects.
From 1996 to 2000, Professor Lee taught at the Graduate School of Architecture, Yale University. As a co-director of the Digital Media Center for Arts, he was in charge of research projects related to digital media design and information architecture.
Professor Lee holds M.Arch. from Yale University and a B.A. in Architecture from Yonsei University, South Korea.
