Jeong Jeong Soon oversees policies and systems in the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, including administrative reform, information disclosure, knowledge management and civil affairs to improve the efficiency of internal administrative processes and to provide quality administrative services to the public.
In addition, he is in charge of policies related to the Proposal System, Interagency Collaboration and 24-Hour Online Public Services (Minwon24, a web portal for public document requests and issuances) in order to promote citizen participation and enhance communication between the government and citizens.
Prior to joining the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, Jeong held several key positions, including Vice Mayor of Cheongju City and Director-General for Economy and Trade in the government of North Chungcheong Province. He is known to possess extensive experience and expertise at all levels of public administration.
