Formerly a reporter and anchor for SBS CNBC (now SBS BIZ) and SBS, AHN Hyunmo has established a wide-ranging career as a TV host and international conference interpreter. She sees herself as someone whose role is to connect and tie together different themes and voices in ways that transcend formalities or barriers, and she relishes and feels very grateful for every opportunity she gets to be a listening ear.

She is especially honored at the chance to both listen to Professor Peter Singer, whom she has long admired, explore the connections between animals and non-human animals as well as between animals and nature more broadly, as well as be a part of engaging a wider audience in this conversation. She hopes those who watch the session will experience - and be united in solidarity by - the same eye-opening illumination she experienced when she first read Animal Liberation.
